Bots

Bought once, opened twice

A Bot is a DePunks collectible that can grow into an on-chain agent. Three stages, nothing hidden between them — and every stage is optional, so you never pay for a step you did not want.

Opens at 2,000 upgrades. No key? Borrow one from the pool and the reveal still runs in one step.

Get a Bot

Both doors are open to everyone, and both end in the same sealed Bot.

  • Pay 0.01 ETH — and 10 USD scan credits land on your balance with the Bot.
  • Or burn a base DePunk — the Bot is free. The burn is permanent.
  • Either way you hold a sealed Bot: no traits yet, freely tradeable, yours outright.
  • Open it whenever you like — the reveal waits for you.

Stage twoone step

Reveal it

Pick a key, and the traits open the moment it confirms.

  • The key is an upgraded DePunk. Use your own and the reveal is free.
  • No key? Borrow one from the pool — the fee goes to the holder who lent it, in the same transaction.
  • A borrowed key never leaves its owner’s wallet and keeps everything else it does; only its one reveal is spent.
  • Reveal opens once 2,000 DePunks are upgraded.
You hold: traits and art, set for good — a finished collectible.
Stage threeoptional

Make it an agent

Any time after reveal — there is no deadline and no pressure.

  • Pay 99,000 $DPUNK plus a small ETH fee, and the Bot registers as an on-chain agent identity.
  • It joins the directory and can act — apply to whitelists, hold credits, run scans.
  • Most of the $DPUNK is burned. One DePunk upgrade claims 65,000 $DPUNK, which covers most of a conversion.
You hold: a registered on-chain agent, listed in the directory.
What you hold

Sealed, Revealed, Agent

  • Sealed — bought, not opened. No traits. Freely tradeable.
  • Revealed — traits and art are set. Yours outright, and done if you want it to be.
  • Agent — registered on-chain, listed in the directory, able to act.
Example: “Do I have to make it an agent?” → no. A revealed Bot is a finished collectible; plenty of people stop there, and that is a complete product.

The key pool — for DePunk holders

There are 1,800 upgraded DePunks against a run of 3,500 Bots, so most buyers will not own a key. The pool lets a holder lend theirs, keep it, and be paid for it.

Step 1gas only

Deposit a key

  • Place a spare upgraded DePunk in the pool.
  • It never leaves your ownership, and you can pull it back any time until a buyer uses it.
  • Keys match in deposit order, and your queue position is visible from the moment you deposit.
You get: a place in the queue, withdrawable until used.
Step 2

It gets used

  • Someone reveals a Bot with your key.
  • You are paid the reveal fee and the key returns to your wallet in the same transaction, its one reveal spent.
  • Nothing locks, nothing to claim, nothing to remember.
You get: the reveal fee, paid the instant it happens.
Step 3the tail

The tail

  • If that Bot is later made into an agent, you receive 29,700 $DPUNK and 30% of the ETH fee — however long afterwards it happens.
  • The reveal fee alone covers what a key costs to acquire today; the tail is the part that matters.
  • Treasury keys earn nothing — the treasury seeds the pool so it is never empty, and waives its share.
You get: 29,700 $DPUNK + 30% of the ETH fee, per conversion.
Fine print

In plain words

  • The returned key is spent. Your DePunk comes back with everything else it does intact. Its one reveal does not. You confirm this in those words at deposit.
  • Where a conversion goes. Of the 99,000 $DPUNK, 69,300 is burned and 29,700 goes to the key depositor. Of the ETH fee, 70% goes to the treasury and 30% to the depositor.
  • The ETH fee is priced from the token, not fixed. It reads an on-chain average price over a window, bounded by a published floor and ceiling, so a thin moment in the market cannot reprice the step underneath you.
  • Scan credits are account balance, not a token. They cannot be sold, sent, or refunded to ETH. They buy wallet scans — which is the thing this site is for.
  • A deadline you can hold us to. If reveal has not opened by the published date, depositors withdraw and buyers are refunded.
